It's a jungle out there

How do.   So what news your end?   Here all is good.   The guys are having fun, I am being told off for being a bloke and not reading situations that well and the truck is in fine form...so all as it should be.

The four day rest in Luang Nam Tha was terrific, bikes both motor and pedal-power were hired, blogs were written, movies watched, laundry done, paddy fields explored and generally we all caught up on ourselves.

We set off early yesterday to avoid the heat turning Calypso into more of a sauna than she already is as we headed further into Laos.   The road was great to start with then did turn to custard as we bounced and sweated our way over the hills and right into the jungle at Nong Khiaw.   Two days are being had here as the guys go explore caves, fish or just mooch around.   The boats have just been hired that will transport the Calypsoites down the river as we drive to meet them at Luang Prabang, another three day stop.    The pace really is delightful.

I was not sure what to expect of Laos but so far I would say it is very relaxed, friendly and hot!   To get an idea of the scenery, temperature and humidity here do the following: Get into your shower fully dressed, turn on the hot water tap and leave it running.   Load the shower up with all the plants you can find then do some exercise.  Get the picture?!   Great for those watching their weight I would imagine, just hope I do not fade away.   Ok will leave you there and clock in again in a few days.
